HSSR

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 4:30 pm in a clean, climate controlled environment.

Job Overview
The HSSR position is responsible for selling Crest pillow speakers to assigned hospitals and reports to the Director of Provider Sales. The HSSR will be responsible for meeting or exceeding pre-determined monthly and yearly pillow speaker unit sales goals. Must live within 60 miles of corporate headquarters in Dassel, MN.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for following Crest pillow speaker sales process and selling pillow speakers to assigned hospital accounts that are not currently purchasing Crest pillow speakers for all their installed nurse call systems.
  • Responsible for contacting assigned existing hospital pillow speaker accounts on a periodic basis to solicit additional pillow speaker orders and to assure the hospital is using only Crest pillow speakers in the facility.
  • Understand the hospital's pillow speaker needs by researching Crest and externally available information about the hospital.
  • Telephone prospects to identify the person responsible in the hospital for selecting the hospital's supplier of pillow speakers and change the supplier to Crest.
  • Work with Crest Technical Support team to identify the model of pillow speaker used in the hospital, helping the customer determine the best solution for their needs. Then provide a sample to the hospital for testing with the existing nurse call system as used and configured.
  • Confirm the functionality of the sample pillow speaker with the hospital and send a quote for the purchase of pillow speakers and follow up on the quote.
  • Understand pillow speaker purchasing patterns of assigned pillow speaker hospital accounts and send quotes for additional purchases. Follow up on quotes.
  • Responsible for acquiring and using product knowledge about Crest pillow speakers and repair services in the sales process.
  • Active participation in Sales Team Meeting discussions and group activities. HSSR will arrive on time and keep discussions on task.
  • Maintain a professional tone and manner to internal and external customers and co-workers.
  • Be a solid team player and a customer advocate.
  • Responding to requests from assigned customers for information, collaborating with ISR and Sales Operations Support Specialist when needed for efficiencies.
  • Provide information on product availability and pricing.
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the industry.
  • Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Work on related projects as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Provider Sales.
Education and Experience
  • 3 years of call center experience; preferably in a business-to-business capacity.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven selling and account management ability.
  • Experience with problem solving; use of support and reference tools.
  • Extensive experience with MS Windows and MS Office.
  • Must demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills as well as effective listening skills.
  • Highly accurate with good attention to detail.
  • The ability to adapt to a high changing environment.
  • Be willing to adapt to new ideas.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work well in a team setting or independently handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • New business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
  • A sales professional with a hunter mentality, persistent and driven to move a lead into a sale and increasing sales with current customers.
  • Motivated to hitting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
