Magnetic Door Lock, 0-3 second nuisance

This delayed egress magnetic door lock can be used on perimeter exit doors and internal fire doors to block unauthorized exit and entry while providing a safe means of escape during a fire or other emergency. When someone attempts to exit through a protected door, an alarm will sound to alert staff before the door unlocks. The “nuisance cycle” requires constant pressure on the door between 0-3 seconds to activate the “egress cycle.” Once the “egress cycle” is activated, the door remains locked for 15-30 seconds, giving staff time to respond to the unauthorized exit or, if during a fire or other emergency, unlocks to allow life saving egress.
