Remote Call-IR™ is a new nurse call device that gives residents and staff the convenience of a TV remote control combined with a call cord. You can now choose either 10-key direct channel access or large TV control buttons for simple control.  Large TV control buttons allow the resident to easily control the TV power, channel and volume. The nurse call button is distinctive both visually and tactilely. And since it's tethered to the wall, it always stays within easy reach.

It can be programmed for use with multiple TV brands like a universal remote using the on-board library of codes. For safety, the nurse call function requires no battery power and will function reliably even if battery life runs out. The TV controls are powered by 2 AA batteries (not included) that will last about as long as typical remote batteries. The larger design is easy to find amongst bedding, encouraging users to summon help when needed. Remote Call-IR™ includes a 10’ cable and a 2-conductor ¼” phone plug to connect with most nurse call systems (adapters are available, call for details). Remote Call-IR™ is extremely robust and easy to disinfect. Remote Call-IR™ was designed to comply with UL 1069 requirements and is safe for use in oxygen-enriched environments.
